We recently learned all about houses and different homes around the world. We decided to focus on this theme in art. We started by doing drawings of 'the house that grew'- this was really good fun and the drawings all turned out very differently. Te then progressed to create our own 3-D houses- this took a lot of work. First we had to tape cardboard boxes together to make the house and then we add to use cardboard to add the roof and the chimney. Then we had to cover the boxed in plaster- this was messy work. When this had dried we had to draw on the doors and windows and paint the boxes. The finished product was very effective :)
